On-Campus Housing is available to provide support to new Faculty, Staff, Graduate and Senior Year Students seeking housing in the Bay area. The high cost of living in the Silicon Valley is an obstacle to many potential SJSU community members, but those who are able to make it work benefit from the opportunities in this unique area.
Campus Village Building A (CVA) is an on-campus housing facility for SJSU Faculty, Staff, Graduate and Senior students. It is located in the heart of Campus Village, a vibrant, student centered community in an urban setting. Campus Village is host to a myriad of programs and activities for the residents. Occasionally, outdoor activities in the Campus Village Plaza attended by large groups of residents, guests and community members result in higher levels of noise during certain times of the year.
University Housing Services is now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Academic Year. To complete the application process, all applicants must pay a $50.00 non-refundable application fee, and submit all necessary 2012-2013 License Materials (Online Application, Annual License Agreement Form for Campus Village Building A, along with initial payment of $600.00.) Room assignments will not be issued to applicants who have not completed this process. (See checklist below for more information.) Individuals interested in parking should also submit the optional parking Permit Request Form.
We are also accepting applications for Senior Year Students who would wish to live in CVA. PLEASE NOTE: Seniors may rent by bedspace only. One bedroom in a two bedroom apartment. Entire apartment rentals are only available to Faculty, Staff, and Graduate applicants. Additional fees apply for summer (June 1 to July 31).
